Hey, thanks for pointing out that my language and grammar needs improvement.

I could actually show an example of english language "chiplakness" from previous posts:

From the post "Back again haha" --> "gotta to wake up these dry lazybones"
It should be (at least) --> Gotta awaken these dried "lazybones".

Well, in terms of explanation, just wanted to consider that I wasn't fully on my toes at the moment. Nevertheless, it's not at all a good excuse for language "suckiness".

Honestly, I have never received this before.

I have witnessed my friends receiving these elements in all its glory.

I understand their feelings and their expressions as they received it.

But, never could I truly comprehend what it means to be in their shoes.

What I’ve obtained today has brought a sense of fulfilment, in addition to increasing my experiences and depths of exposure.

Whoa.. Haven't been blogging for a long time now. the posts on the chat box seems long overdue too.. hmm

Well, just a little update...
it is now my last week of lectures in uni, which means exams are coming and the exams break is commencing. (gotta to wake up these dry lazybones)

anyway, earlier this year, during the first week of uni lectures... I was given the word "Elevation". I'm glad, grateful and ever thankful to be reminded of this awesome word once again (My last week of uni lectures)

Was queuing up for some food in uni today, it was the Hello Vietnam Event, where the taste and culture of Vietnam visits the "humble" uni.

Omgness, the noodles and chicken was divine, man. Not really sure what it's called, but it consists of some noodles, chicken and soup. Owh man, the soup was amazing. Not sure if they used some kind of chicken stock, a friend of mine told me they boiled many pieces of chicken in the soup, all the chicken juice just mixed in and seasoned the soup with its savoury content.

And yeah, really thanked God for it as well, 'coz I was the last in the queue and the person-in-charge came with a sign "SORRY, NO MORE FOOD" and stood behind me. (Indicates that the queue ends here, they are going to "sao tong" soon.)

Hahaha, I'm supposedly to be studying. Just couldn't continue coz' nothing is going in...

So, I went facebook"ing"-, blogging, ... etc.

Suddenly, my mind started to ponder on the questions:
What do I want to do now that I'm still a uni student?
Where do I want to be, where I can find "a sense of purpose and fulfillment"?

As a uni student, it's good that you study, coz' you don't wanna go failing the papers and unable to obtain the golden certificate that advances you forward in the working society.

But as a person, aged 19 going on 20 ... ... ?

So, yeah, curiosity is the first spark, the ignition of an adventure, the next step would be research, asking questions, gathering resources, references from experiences of another individual and so forth ... before embarking on your crazy journey and jumping into the waves.

Seems like the more "research" I do, the greater the fall of my confidence and the greater the level of fear.

Before long, I realise that I take the word "crazy" for granted; I realise that I take for granted many other things...
It's like playing a card game, you thought you were going to or able to victoriously pin it down and the crowd goes wild, until your opponent drops his combination and the tables are turned.

Throughout the journey, ...
The type of terrain that we set our foot on depends on the path we take.
The stones we pick up on the way depends on the path we take.

So, now the questions which invaded the limelight

Am I able to do it?
That is what I want, but am I able?
Am I ready?
Despite what I've been through, am I able?
The rocks, stones and pebbles that I picked up on the way here, am I able to crumble the wall or tower which stands in my path?

Heard that so many people are stressed with assignments, lectures, uni and some are even blogging about it all.

Am I missing something? Why don't I feel stressed? Does my psych course consist of "Kacang-putih" subjects and components? Am I way back? Am I not updated by certain aspects of my course?

The "Lost" Man

2 WEEKS AGO ... ...
... ... ...

Well, I was walking to my friend's place from uni, coz I normally park my car there (dont wanna park in uni, expensive >.< )

Thanks so much to Fel, Xuet, Qing, Shan and Shamay for letting me park my car there :D !!!

Anyway, back to the story ... ... I was passing by the housing area, when suddenly a lost man approached me :/ (he was wearing a brown coat and a hat)

Lost Man: " Hi! Could you please help me? I live up in Epping, which is up north from here. My car just wouldn't move and the petrol light is on. I don't have enough money to buy petrol. Could you please spare me some change?"

So, here's the situation:

I was so in a good mood that day and I didn't really put much thought into how much money this guy have, and naive as I am, thinking that the local Aussies here are quite genuine >.<
Furthermore, you can actually purchase a container of petrol and there's a petrol station not far from the area.
Besides, it's not like you encounter a person-in-need everyday, right? So, I thought I should help him out.

Me: "Alright, here's 5 dollars. Is it okay for you?"

Lost Man:" Thank you, that's perfect. Thank you."

After handing him the 5 dollar note, we left for our separate ways.

!!!!TODAY!!!!

I was walking to my friend's place again (coz my car's parked there)

Standing at the traffic light with a few people, waiting to cross the road.
When SUDDENLY ... I ENCOUNTERED THE LOST MAN AGAIN!!! This time he was wearing a black sweater, with sunglasses and THE SAME HAT.

He approached me once again.

Lost Man: "Hi! Could you please help me? I live up in Epping, which is up north from here. My car just wouldn't move and the petrol light is on. I don't have enough money to buy petrol. Could you please spare me some change?"

Me: "Hey!!! I saw you 2 weeks ago, I gave you 5 dollars."

Lost Man: "Really? It wasn't me... ..."

Me: "Now, you're telling me the same story you told me 2 weeks ago."

Lost Man: "Really? It wasn't me. I had been asking around for quite some time now."

Me: "Sorry, I can't help you."

Once again, here's the situation:

I was standing with a few people and he only asked me.
After I crossed the road, he was heading to the uni and he met up with a friend on the way.

Thus, we can now conclude:

I'M SO CONNED !!!

Future tips
When trying to con the same person a second time, use a different story and a different hat.

Owh... and if you're thinking why I call him "The Lost Man", coz' he seriously look very very sesat wei...

It's good to know that you're changing; it's good to know that you're growing.
But ... in which direction ?

Change would mean something different or difference in a particular aspect, but does not give us the assurance upon its direction.

If you're talking about direction, it's only 2 ways in most aspects:
Left and right; up and down; east and west; north and south; better or worse.

When it comes to age and life, it's only one direction; all of us are not getting any younger as time goes by.
So, obviously we should be going forward.

If you're thinking about change, I would strongly suggest you think about enhancement; improvement; elevation; refinement; upgrades; "civilization"; promotion ...

Entering a part of life, where standards will either elevate or drop.
A fulfillment to catch a glimpse of its elevation.
Even more of a fulfillment to find many others who are encouraged and chose progression with what they have.
Thus, the standard further advances.

Entering a part of life, where you can actually see time fly.
A fulfillment to CHOOSE spending every last second of life with the people around you like there's no tomorrow, thus comes the consistency and determination to do so.
Even more of a fulfillment to develop a closer relationship with those you spent your time with.
In addition to that, to develop the ability to understand and love those out of your reach.

Entering a part of life, where the things in life, it's either you make the first move or the entire sequence of movements commences without you.

Arriving in Malaysia; looking out at the roads, the landscapes ...

OMGness, I miss driving with some of the craziest and somewhat "not-so-courteous" drivers (only found in KL, at least in my lifetime).

Anyway, went to a home of a special someone, the most precious time which I loved the most is just being by her side.

For some reason, I dont like evenings, never did. Seeing the sun going down is just so depressing.

Need to get some plans up.

Food poisoning after exams

Went to a Vietnamese Restaurant along Swanston Street, Melbourne, and had lunch with a couple of friends.

Ordered and ate beef noodles (with all the beef and beef balls)

Feel sick the next morning, had to go to the bathroom a couple of times and had to sleep early.

Good thing all these don't happen before or during my exams

Yeah, it seems quite right when a friend of mine told me that I was floating.
In fact, floating way too much, just following whatever happens, let it happen, wherever the wind takes me, I will float everywhere like some cloud. Or the water in the sea, wherever the waves take me, I'll just follow.

I find myself, getting influenced so much by my environment, yet I'm not satisfied with where I am, I'm not satisfied with where the flow brings me.

But, I'm still not trying hard enough to BREAK loose. It takes so much for a cloud to go against the wind, it takes so much for water to go against the waves in the sea.

A tree and its fruits

You can't really judge a book by its cover, but you can certainly judge a tree by its fruits.
If I go strolling in the garden and picked fruits from a tree, and the fruit tasted awful when I bit into it ... ...
Every fruit I picked, it just tastes bitter and awful.

Do I not walk to another tree?
Do I not MOVE AWAY from that tree?
Do I ever want to come visit that tree for fruits again?

Well, I would walk away from that tree, walk to another tree and eat its fruits. Most likely would not visit that tree that has bad fruits.

Changing the scenario here ...

A gardener who cares for his fruit trees and waters his plants EVERYDAY, would most likely have healthier crops than one who does not. After the harvest, his yield of produce would be awesome and the fruits tastes good.

Would a gardener, who rarely looks after his crops, have a good yield of sweet-tasting fruits?

Even if the gardener uses pesticides, fertilizers or compost, weed-killers or any other means of chemical or mechanical technology, he definitely still needs to spend time taking care of his crops.

(That's if he wants good, sweet yield of fruits)

A NEW DAY HAS ARRIVED

Getting up from the wrong side of bed

Blabbering...

It was a bad sleep. Slept at about 12am, woke up at about 6am, had a "nightmare" and found that I couldn't return to dreamland or sleep zone, passport expired already.
The "nightmare" reached its conflict and it ended there, like watching a soccer match on TV, when the footballer shoots and the goal keeper fails to save, and the football is, like a few inches away from the goal. The crowd was going wild, until suddenly the whole house experienced a power failure, and everyone who's watching the TV goes like OOOOWWWHHHH (Hahaha ... It's actually quite funny if you can imagine the situation).
The "nightmare" wasnt actually quite scary, it's something the flesh would feed on but unhealthy for the spirit.
Some of my friends might call it a dream come true.

So yeah, that was how I wake up this morning. Ended up feeling so awake yet I so don't wanna BE awake.

that's when you're sweating and the fabrics of the cloth is sticking all over your skin, like almost intensely chewed bubblegum.

You'll always know when you need to change your diet,
that's when you got some symptoms of not feeling so well (eg: breathing problems, body aches, stomach aches, feeling weak ... etc)

You'll always know when you need to change your sleeping habits,
that's when your eyelids are just hard to be lifted up during the day, waking up late, and thought you saw a blue kangaroo when it's actually your boring lecturer on the stage of the lecture halls.

You'll always know when you need to change your study timetable,
that's when you just recently got the "no-hope-look" from your tutor, obviously not getting the exam results you were aiming for, and when you felt like your lecturer was reciting some ancient mythological text during a maths and statistics lecture.

Likewise,
You'll always know when you need to change your lifestyle.

You'll realize you can't go on doing the wrong things over and over again.
You'll realize that what you do might actually hurt someone, if not physically, emotionally.
You'll realize that you're not only hurting people, you're hurting yourself and Him, who always loves you.

Having dinner with my family is one of the most awesome and beautiful moments in my life.

I remember when I was younger (6 years old or so), my dad took some fish for me. The fish had bones in it, so my dad actually removed the bones and gave the flesh to me. He's truly an awesome dad.
And you know, my dad still does that until today. One thing is, my mom would say "ngo dei ge zai dai gou zhou loh, pei kui ji kei pat yu", which means "Our son (me) is all grown up, let him take the fish himself." in cantonese.

I love both my dad and mom so much, they're truly truly awesome.
I would really make it a point to take food for my parents as well.

Others might think that my parents are just going to "spoil" me by doing things for me and getting stuff for me, providing me money to buy stuff for myself.
But, hey, I would really love to buy stuff with my own hard-earned money from paid work too.

When was the last time you took food for your parents? Transfering fish or vege from the plates in the middle of the table to your parents' rice bowls ...

When was the last time you and your dad or mom had a good chat about absolutely randoms of randoms?

When was the last time you shared something you had with your parents?

When was the last time you catch an awesome movie with your family?

When was the last time you gave your parents a hug or a kiss on the cheek?

When was the last time you looked them in the eye, saying to them "I love you, mom", "I love you, dad"?

When was the last time you assured a sense of respect and a relationship of love with your dad, your mom, your brother and your sister?

When was the last time you let your parents know that you love them?

'Coz as we know (what we learnt from our "Pendidikan Moral" in high school)
Our parents worked hard to get us education, so, respect our parents and do well in our studies.
(Or something like that)

And from what The Word tells us:

Honor your father and mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother" - which is the first commandment of the promise.

What I see from having awesome parents ...
... is that my dad and mom had came from a crazy background, going through lots of crazy things. Despite these environmental insanities, they did their best as parents and brought me up. Here I am today. My parents are not perfect, but they did their best, and I love them just the way they are.

... is that sometimes, it can be a challenge, honouring, respecting and loving my parents but it is not impossible when God is in the picture.

... I'm not the perfect son, neither are they the perfect parents. We are going to do our best to be an awesome blessing to one another and have an amazing family relationship

... God placed us in a family for a reason, a reason to grow, a reason to prosper, a reason to flourish, a reason to rise. God placed us in a family for a purpose, a purpose to bless, a purpose to give, a purpose to care, a purpose to empower, a purpose to love each other to crazy bits.

... as my parents did their best, trust in The Lord, for me. So will I do my best, trust in The Lord, for them.

When I woke up this morning, I just feel real tired out, real "Owwwhh man" tired, what some people call "sian"

Thought to myself, today is a good day to do stuff on the internet, like blog crawling, playing around with facebook, playing around with my blog, reading the news, search for pictures, songs and lyrics...etc.

But then, I ended up watching movies and getting hooked up with my computer games. Now, this is SO NOT productive. I don't know about you all, but I haven't watch "Meet the Spartans" and "Beowulf" yet. Martin said "Meet the Spartans" is so funny, I think it's just stupid. And "Beowulf" is SSSSSOOOOOOOO BORING, I keep skipping the scenes, the fighting scenes are cool, but then most of the fighting scenes are just too boring. After watching both movies and playing the crazy computer game, I feel more tired.

Praise God for the first day of exams, wanna truly truly thank God for how he helped me, guided me, been with me with studies and exams.
Came out of the exam hall, a little smile and a heart praising God again and again.

Yet again, my dad, Joanne, my uncle and a few more people who were praying me. I truly truly thankful for how God had placed them in my life and how He had used them to bless me in so many ways.

1. OUCH!!!! MY EYES!!!!!! Everyone has their own way of creativity on the mixture of colours. (Dont worry, that's what I do too)

2. Some fonts are quite small... OUCH!!!! MY EYES!!!!!

3. Dont worry about the first 2 points, just wanna do this to escape my studies and my own world. Going back to study after this.

4. As I browse and crawl from blog to blog, I just realized how unique each and everyone of my "Awesomes of Awesomes" are. Though I know I can't judge a person or tell how they are feeling by their blog, coz its more or less like an online "all-to-see" diary. There are some people who dont really blog what's inside.

5. It's truly awesome to see how everyone is doing, how everyone is growing up, how everyone is going thru things as part and partial of playing life's game, how everyone is growing and doing their best to be the best in this one life. And some people blog about the news, yeap, *Malaysia's financial erection*; *Earthquake in Sichuan*; *How Bush is doing*

6. Every blog I crawl into, whether if its funny or not, it makes me smile and melts the cholesterol which blankets my heart and arteries. Wanted to finish up my essay yesterday (it's due date was today)... Until, (drum roll)

My file got corrupted and 2 weeks of my effort completely wasted.

NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!

So yeah, stressed and had "panic attacks" for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Then, settled down, calm myself down, prayed...
then took the whole day to finish up this fat assignment

By the end of the day, I just finished it.
Neither am I sure how it will turn out; nor have I reached its word limit.
(I wrote about 1711 words when the essay has a word limit of 2000 words)

But yeah, praise God I finished this essay and submitted it today

A good lesson to learn from this is ....
1. To plan everything nice and smooth
2. Do the best to finish assignments 1 or 2 weeks before dateline (Do the best, He guarantees the best)
3. MAKE SURE YOU GET A BACKUP FILE (Technology is unpredictable, you're never sure when it fails)
4. Pray about your assignment (He NEVER fails)

For some reason, ... One thing I realised

When I was back in KL, Malaysia, I was walking in the city or driving on the streets...
Whether if it is night or day, rain or shine, crowded or "spacious"
I felt calm and cool, no worries, no fear, just cool

Now that I'm in Melbourne, Australia... was walking in the city or taking the tram
Whether if it is night or day (especially at night), crowded or not
I just feel a sense of insecurity, feel really fearful walking in the city (especially when I'm alone)

Hmmm... Maybe I just think too much

And for some reason,

I get motion sickness, particularly on the trams in the city...
I'm alright when it comes to car, bus, plane, ship, train or on-foot
But I always feel sick when I sit too long on the tram and had to stand to avoid throwing up

Coz' all you have to do is validate your ticket on the machine, indicating payment of the tram fare.

SO, obviously I logged in to my friendster, just because she reminded me about it and I asked myself "Hey, why not?"

Going through my profile, then wondering and day-dreaming again. Asked myself."Who was I?"

So after thinking here and thinking there [ from the Malay language "fikir sini fikir sana"]

Thought to myself...Hmm...Did I give anyone a hard time or was I a blessing? (Most parts of me said that I gave people a hard time)

Am I a good friend or a bad friend? (Most parts of me said I was a bad friend)

Did I nail people down or raise people up? (Most parts of me said I sat on them after nailing them down)

SO, yeah... Maybe I was...

But then, ...I thought of some people in my life, THEY are extreme blessing to me. Who I am today, is because of them. It's because of how God used them to mould me. The focus is not how bad I was, but how good others were to mould me, melt me (actually melt me first then mould me)
